Study Overview
Today, physicians are searching for a way to improve the quality of life for people with schizophrenia.
They are conducting a research study of an investigational medication to see if it improves concentration, memory and learning in people with schizophrenia.
The main goal of the study is to learn whether adding the investigational medication to the participant’s current antipsychotic treatment can improve their thinking process.
Individuals interested in participating will continue taking their current antipsychotic medications.
To enroll in the study, potential participants must be:

- considered outpatient
- reading at a fifth grade level or higher
- able to meet additional requirements
The research study will last approximately 35 weeks, which includes a follow-up period. There are a maximum of 18 visits to the study doctor’s office.
Qualified participants will receive all study-related care at no cost including psychiatric assessments, study-related physical exams, laboratory services, and study medication. Participants may also be eligible for compensation for travel.
